Our Story
Our Mission
International Learning and Trading Experiences (ILTEX) began its journey in 2011 under the name "Madrid in Austin," in Austin, Texas. Our initial mission was to provide students with an immersive cultural experience focused on Spanish language and culture. Collaborating closely with the University of Texas at Austin, we enriched language programs by blending academic excellence with cultural depth.
Building on this success, we expanded internationally in 2013, establishing "Madrid in, Language and Culture" in the United Kingdom. Partnering with esteemed institutions such as the University of Reading and The Henley College in Oxfordshire, we brought our expertise to a wider audience, delivering exceptional language and cultural programs.
In 2019, we moved our headquarters to Miami, Florida, reflecting our commitment to fostering global learning opportunities from one of the most dynamic and diverse cities in the United States. With Miami as our base, we have continued to grow and evolve, introducing new programs and broadening our scope to include undergraduate training and professional development.
In 2023, we launched a new venture to address the needs of international businesses aiming to establish themselves in the U.S. market. Operating under the commercial name "Business USA Solutions," this consultancy firm provides strategic guidance and practical support, combining our deep understanding of global markets with our extensive network in the United States.
From our humble beginnings as a cultural exchange initiative to our current status as a multifaceted organization, ILTEX remains dedicated to creating impactful educational and professional experiences. Our journey is a testament to our unwavering commitment to connecting people, cultures, and opportunities across the globe.
Our Team
Our Team
At the heart of International Learning and Trading Experiences is Álvaro Camps, a dynamic leader with a wealth of expertise in education, training, and business consulting. A seasoned lawyer and senior business consultant from Spain, Álvaro has been dedicated to professional development since 2001. His career includes notable collaborations with CEOE-CEPYME, Spain's leading employer and business federation, or companies as MAPFRE, plus over a decade of involvement in international education initiatives since 2009.
Mr. Camps is an expert in business management, training, and HR, and he is certified as a Senior Professional by the American Society for Human Resource Management.
Álvaro's extensive experience in leading business projects and mentoring young entrepreneurs has made him an invaluable asset to ILTEX. His passion for empowering others is evident in his recent appointment as a Member of the Advisory Board Committee for the Masters in Education at MIU City University Miami, where he contributes his deep insights into the intersection of education and professional development.
A proud father of four, Álvaro brings the same dedication to his family life as he does to his professional endeavors. Residing in Miami, he enjoys an active lifestyle filled with water sports, rugby, and basketball. Álvaro’s leadership, vision, and commitment to fostering growth make him a cornerstone of ILTEX’s mission to connect cultures and create opportunities for students and professionals worldwide.
Led by Mr. Camps, this project is supported by a multidisciplinary team of collaborators from the fields of education, consulting, and personal development. Together, they bring their expertise and dedication from the United States, the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Spain, making this initiative possible and impactful on a global scale.
